African Disneyland near Victoria Falls

The Government of the Republic of Zimbabwe reported on its plans for the African Disneyland near Victoria Falls.


The construction of a modern tourist complex is planned to spend about $ 300 million.

In a statement, the Minister of Tourism Walter Mzembi noted that the new resort will be complemented by shopping centers, banks, exhibition and entertainment venues.

The government of President Robert Mugabe’s plans to invest $ 150 million for the construction of an international airport and has reserved an area of ​​1,200 hectares near the Victoria Falls.

Speaking at a meeting of the World Tourism Organization, Walter Mzembi announced plans to create a zone with an independent banking center, where even foreigners will be able to open bank accounts.

Organizers hope the tourist center in such a way to attract new tourists the country and increase the flow of investment.
