Day of puppetry to celebrate in Los Angeles

In Los Angeles, March 21 will celebrate the World Day of puppetry.

During the celebration will take place in a number of festivals, performances, productions, workshops, dedicated to puppetry.

Little Theatre production returns its popular marionette Pinocchio. Also on weekends from 8 to 23 March 2014 there will be held puppet fair.

The Broad Stage in Santa Monica will present puppet setting for the works of William Shakespeare’s” Midsummer Night’s Dream” from 3 to 19 April 2014.

Cultural center «Skirball» in Brentwood April 13, 2014 held a one-day puppet festival for children, consisting of performances, workshops on making dolls and writing stories and other themed events.

A puppet troupe in Los Angeles “Bob Baker Marionette Theater” will also present their new productions during the celebration of World Day of puppetry. “Bob Baker Marionette Theater” was a popular pastime for both children and adults in Los Angeles until 1963.
