John Lennon’s Home Sells for more than $770K

The starting price for the auction mansion was 150,000 pounds (240,000 dollars). As a result, trade has tripled the cost of the lot.

The auction was held at the famous Liverpool club Cavern, where the band The Beatles performed frequently. Lot went to an anonymous buyer, who bid by phone.

The house where John Lennon lived up to five years, consists of a living room, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms and a bathroom. As reported by the British real estate agents, the previous owner put the house up for auction, not knowing how high the cost may be.

Managing Director of Countrywide Property Auctions said the auction was very exciting and that the auction house is proud to have sold such an iconic piece of the history of The Beatles and Liverpool’s history.
