Annual strawberry festival will be held in Pasadena

From May 16 to 18 in Pasadena, Texas, traditionally held an annual festival of strawberries.


For two days, the festival will skydiving, live music, competitions with eating strawberries, strawberry cooking, barbecue, carnival, mud volleyball and more.

Strawberry festival was first held in 1974 on the day of San Jacinto – the decisive battle in the Texas Revolution – simultaneously with the opening of the Historical Museum in Pasadena. Each year more than 45,000 people attend the festival, which continues to maintain the memory of this important historical event. The festival will also collects funds for scholarships, public activities and preservation of historical monuments.
