From May 16 to 18 in Pasadena, Texas, traditionally held an annual festival of strawberries.
Strawberry festival was first held in 1974 on the day of San Jacinto – the decisive battle in the Texas Revolution – simultaneously with the opening of the Historical Museum in Pasadena. Each year more than 45,000 people attend the festival, which continues to maintain the memory of this important historical event. The festival will also collects funds for scholarships, public activities and preservation of historical monuments.
