Photo Exhibition “Humanity during the war”, which will feature 42 unique photographs from the archives of the International Committee of the Red Cross, opened in Atlanta October 7.
The exhibits were selected from the album “Mankind is at war – photos from the front.” They cover the period from 1860 to the present day. The exhibition illustrates events such as the First and Second World Wars, the Arab-Israeli conflict, civil clash in Spain, Ethiopia, El Salvador, events in Iraq, and many others.
During the crisis of social phenomena camera captured the courage and dignity, struggle and hope against the backdrop of pain and suffering. The archives of the International Committee of the Red Cross is more than 100 thousand photographs taken over the past 150 years.
The exhibition, organized by the regional organization of the Belarusian Red Cross Society, exhibited in Hall Art Gallery Gabriel Vashenko. The exhibition runs until 27 October.
