IKEA, the Swedish furniture company plans to convert its first store in the museum ‘s own history.

So the company is going to tell you about my story. It is expected that the museum will visit approximately 200,000 people each year.

“The first IKEA store opened here in Elmhyulti , and in 2012 he moved to a new location. Through this we can use the building for the museum,” – said Michelle Acuna, Managing Director.

Despite the seemingly commonplace items such as furniture, Acuna said she is confident the museum will attract tourists. “We have noticed that there is great interest in our 70-year history,” – she said , referring to the frequent visits of Danish, German and Dutch travelers.

“We are going to talk not only about our product range, but also about how IKEA has developed business and the people that worked there, and, of course, will provide visitors with an interactive introduction to the exhibits,” – she added.

Recall that IKEA was founded in 1943 17 -year-old Ingvar Kamprad. Today it employs about 139,000 people.
