Cunard Cruise company launched a series of commemorative book cruises to its 175th anniversary in 2015.
The company reported that members of the Diamond and Platinum programs can have from yesterday to book a cruise dedicated to this historic moment as meeting all three Cunard ships company in Liverpool. The general public can book a trip starting on Thursday.
May 25, 2015 for the first time all three “Queen” – liners Cunard – “Queen Mary II”, “Queen Victoria” and “The Queen” – will meet in Liverpool. The liner “Queen Mary II” first come, May 24, after May 25 – “The Queen” and “Queen Victoria”.
Cunard launched in the 1800s, doing transatlantic voyage from Liverpool. These three ships will sail close to the historical place where the headquarters of the company Cunard from 1917 to 1967.
Also this week flights available for order on the liner “Queen Mary II” from Liverpool, which kicks off July 4, 2015 – exactly 175 years to the day that Cunard launched the first scheduled flight across the Atlantic from the city.
Journey plays the original transatlantic flight in 1840 the ship “Kingdom” from Liverpool to Boston via Halifax. For the first time in more than 50 years, passengers will be able to board the ship in Liverpool and sail to the United States.
