Lufthansa strike

Lufthansa canceled about 3,800 flights from 2 to 4 April in connection with a strike of pilots.

In a statement the airline said that during the three-day strike, the airline will pay only 500 flights.

But other airlines that are part of Lufthansa Group (Swiss, Austrian, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, Lufthansa CityLine and Air Dolomiti) strike does not apply. If possible, these airlines use larger aircraft on routes to and from Germany to carry as many passengers to their destinations, said at Lufthansa.

Cancellation of flights adversely affect 425,000 passengers. In cases where possible, Lufthansa has allowed them to exchange airline tickets on the train.
