Paris Picasso Museum opened on October 25 after a five-year renovation.
This day is celebrated 133 anniversary of the birth of a great artist. The updated museum was doubled area showrooms and simplistic design that allowed for more works of the artist. The museum, located in the Marais mansion, built in the 50′s 17th century, has always attracted its remarkable collection, presented by the French state after his death.
In the halls of Picasso paintings hanging next to sculptures, engravings. This, according to former museum director Anne Baldesari, lets focus on the process of the artist. Works exhibited mostly by chronology – from the early works of Picasso as a teenager, he made shortly before his death in 1973. There are also some nice rooms, grouped thematically – self-portraits, guitar, portraits of women.
