Hamad International Airport finally opens next week in Qatar.
Tender for construction of airport in Qatar in 2004, the company won the Bechtel Group Inc., To complete work on the first part of the airport was planned back in 2008. However, the opening date was postponed each time. The construction of the airport spent $ 17 billion.
Budget airlines, including FlyDubai, will move to the new airport on May 30. Other airlines including Qatar Airways Ltd., Will serve flights from Hamad since May 27, as the halls of the first and business class passengers are willing to accept.
It is expected that the airport will annually serve over 50 million passengers.
