Glass observation deck open in the Alps

 Attraction “Step into the void ” in the Mont Blanc mountain range officially opened on December 21.


The new observation deck glass bottom set at the peak of Aiguille du Midi (3842 m above sea level) near the resort of Chamonix, France. With it you can enjoy amazing views of the Mont Blanc massif. Sam Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Western Europe, altitude 4810 meters, is located nearby.

The glass box can withstand the wind speeds up to 220 km/h and temperatures up to 60 degrees Celsius. Glass floor boxes are made of three layers of tempered glass, each with a thickness of 12 mm.
