Canada will host the annual Tulip Festival

62nd Canadian Tulip Festival will be held from 9 to 19 May in Ottawa.

The festival, which takes place in the park of Queen Juliana, will be about one million tulips – a gift from the Netherlands to Canada gratitude for the liberation of the Dutch at the end of the Second World War and asylum Dutch royal family. In addition, visitors will surprise fireworks, performances by street artists, huge statues of tulips, military equipment. The festival will also be the first music program presented Flower Fireworks friendship of nations that will take place during three nights.

Each year, the Canadian Tulip Festival is visited by 500,000 people, many of them – the tourists who come to Ottawa to watch this incredible amount of tulips.

Program Flower Fireworks friendship among peoples held at Lake Dow 9, 14 and 17 May. Festival organizers hope that this will become an annual program.

Also in the park is located Queen Juliana International Pavilion. Visitors can get acquainted with the culture of 15 different countries and serves traditional dishes.
