China scientists want to restore the DNA of Confucius

 Researchers from the University of Fudan going to check whether there was Confucius in reality.


With this technology will be used to analyze DNA. This is the second project of its kind, the implementation of which is held by the staff of one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in China. Previously, researchers have conducted a study on the DNA of Cao Cao, politics and the general, who lived in the era of the Three Kingdoms, one of the most prominent figures of the national history of China.

“We are committed to solving ancient mysteries with modern technologies. If we can decode DNA of more famous historical figures, we can make greater contributions to historical anthropology”, – says study leader Han Shen.
