Water taxi between the middle and lower Manhattan began work this Monday.
This new route is intended to provide a comfortable movement of residents and guests in the morning and evening rush hours along the west coast of the island of Manhattan. Every day, he will make three flights in the morning from 7:40 to 9:05 in the evening and three of 16:45 to 18:25.
It was created for passenger transport, but tourists can also use it for trips. Water taxis have long been engaged in night and day tours to the Statue of Liberty. You can also buy tickets for the day – and see the horizon in New York and New Jersey, Brooklyn Bridge, Governors Island, and many other attractions.
The usual fare is $ 4.50 or $ 8 round trip, but until Friday after opening a ride on a water taxi will be free.
