Grace Kelly exhibit opens in Philadelphia

Today, at Michener Museum on the outskirts of Philadelphia, opened an exhibition called “Grace Kelly from Philadelphia to Monaco.”

This exhibition helps to trace the career of actress, starting with her early years in her native Philadelphia and ending years of the reign of Monaco.

The exhibition will display personal items Grace Kelly of Monaco Palace archives: love notes from husband Prince Rainier, awards, designer outfits (including the dress she wore on the night when she received the Oscar for Best Actress in the movie “The Country Girl”), a Hermes “Kelly” bag, with which Kelly was trying to hide her pregnancy: as well as videos,  posters,  souvenirs  and  home  video  since  her  acting  caree r and  lots  of  photos.

For the first time the exhibition was presented in Monaco in 2007. Then it was visited by 135,000 people. The  event  has  broken  all-time  record  for  attendance,   and  after  that   organizers   decided   to  show anexhibition not onl  i  principality Monaco, but  also  in other countries.
